In order to start your live stream:
Tap on the RED button located on Assistant’s preview window of Director’s main screen.
NOTE: Every time you live stream, Cinamaker creates a recording and a project file. This way you can easily go back and re-edit your live-cut footage immediately or days later. We call this a "Post Production Live Edit" because all your source media is readily available and always there for you.
2. Select needed social network or platform for your stream
3. If you are not signed with selected platform you will be redirected to Sign in. Make sure to allow the app to share information between platforms tapping on “Continue”

4. Set configurations of the stream and tap Start.
Upon selecting Facebook, the configuration screen asks you to set the stream resolution. Facebook maxes out at 720. Cinamaker provides a recommended stream resolution based on a quick analysis of your current internet connection.
Next, provide a strong Stream Title as it will be seen by your Facebook audience, and eventually archived by Facebook.
And finally, select who you want to see the live stream and the privacy parameters.
Once you have completed the above and are ready to go live, simply tap the start button.
Once you hit the Start button your live stream (and recording) begins! The Record button will become active and the timer/counter will reflect the evolution of time.
During live streaming you can begin live-editing. Live editing options include:
- Cutting or transitioning between your cameras
By simply tapping the various camera source preview windows below the large program monitor. With each camera selection your program monitor will change and your live edits will be recorded as the action unfolds.
- Displaying or hiding text, graphics and media assets
On the right panel underneath the layers tab you can turn on an off any pre-loaded media assets. They can include text objects, still and animated graphics, movie clips, picture-in-picture elements and chroma-key backgrounds.
- Changing your audio mix
On the right panel underneath the musical note icon you can access your audio mixer for all audio sources. From here you can modify your mix during your session to change audio levels at different times during the edit.
Camera Controls
Additionally you can remotely control you iPhone camera while you're streaming and recording from the Camera Controls panel. From Cinamaker Director you can control the exposure, focus and zoom of your iPhone cameras.
NOTE: Remote Camera Control from Director Pad works with iPhones only.
Audio Controls
With Cinamaker you can control the audio mix from the audio panel. , if there's music you want to bring in at a certain section and that's on this device, you can bring that up.
When you are ready to end your live stream (and recording), simply tap the Record button and you will be asked to confirm. Select Stop and you will be alerted to the statistics of the recording you just completed.
Recording Statistics reflect the duration of the recording, average video and audio bitrates and the average frames per second (fps).
You will also be given the option to return to the Preview screen for more live streaming and recording, or be taken to the post-production live-editor.
