Live Editor Overview
Cinamaker’s in-app Live Editor lets you edit your previous Camera, Audio, and Media decisions from your recorded sessions. We call this Live Editor because, unlike other video editors, Cinamaker’s multi-camera, multi-input video production platform allows you to edit live while recording and live streaming (production), and/or edit afterward while in playback (post-production).
Cinamaker’s in-app Live Editor now gives you two (2) editing modes during post-production that make editing faster and more efficient; Roll mode and Instant mode.
This document describes Cut Editing using the Cinamaker Director Studio Live Editor. In this mode you are able to Cut, Copy, Paste, and Delete when you select a fragment of the project timeline.
1 - Cut - cuts the selected fragment You will then be able to paste the fragment to to a position selected on upper timeline.
2 - Copy - copies a selected fragment.
3 - Paste - paste a selected fragment to a position selected on upper timeline..
4 - Delete - completely deletes a selected fragment from the project. Unlike Cut, you will not be able to paste a fragment.
5 - Exit Cut Mode.
1. Launch Cinamaker Director Studio.
2. Open your project for editing (after that you will be navigated to Live Editor)
3. In Live Editor tap Cut Mode.
There are two timelines: upper and lower. The Upper timeline is used to select the duration of time, or fragment of time you wish to Cut.
The Lower timeline is used to zoom in/out of the upper timeline and this makes selecting the time range more precise.
To permanently Delete a fragment of the video from the timeline, select the desired start/finish points you wish to delete by moving timestamps left/right, then click Delete.
1 - indicates the current playback position in a project (00:00:11).
2 - indicates overall project length (00:02:00).
Note, the selected fragment was deleted from the project, overall project length is changed (from 00:02:00 to 00:01:40).
For canceling changes click/tap Undo.
