Attempting to screen share with MAC desktop

When I have elected to share screen with my mac desktop, the program recognizes the connection in an open camera slot, but the camera screen is black and I do not see my desktop in the camera slot. information please? Right now I am experimenting with the free trial.

I'm assuming you are attempting to share your desktop using the CinIO app on the Mac. When I do so, it defaults to selecting my attached Logitech webcam. I need to manually select the desktop option in the CinIO app. Once done, the desktop streams to the Cinamaker Desktop Pad software on my iPad.
